NETHERLANDS (United), Westfriesland, "rider" ducatoon, 1678, date in cartouche below arms, very rare.
Delm-unl (cf. 1020); KM-68. 29.63 grams. A bit corroded but with a very bold date that is not listed in Delmonte for this type, crude edges as made, crack on edge and two pits on obverse.
Pedigreed to the Steve Valentine Collection, with original certificate from the salvor/conservator.
