Description:
BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 8 reales, (1651-52) E, with crowned-O and crown-alone countermark on shield (very rare with two countermarks), ex-Capitana, Mastalir Plate.
S-P36; KM-19b; Cal-Type 327. 16.28 grams. Thin from corrosion but with full shield and good toning (About Fine overall), the countermarks both bold (the crowned-O scarce) but almost totally overlapping in the upper half of the shield, clear king's ordinal IIII in legend.
