Description: 

CANADA, copper (1/2 penny) token, no date (1800s), standing "Irishman" on obverse, ex-Baker.

Breton-1009; Courteau-4; AM-4. 7.56 grams. A type that originally circulated in Ireland (hence the name for the standing figure) but then ended up in Lower Canada. XF with glossy dark brown surfaces, some hairlines.
