BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 8 reales, 1651 E, with crowned-arms countermark on cross, ex-Capitana, ex-Ponte, Mastalir Plate.
S-P36; KM-19b; Cal-1491. 27.16 grams. Solid and nearly corrosion-free with choice but slightly off-center full shield and cross, the former with curiously raised diagonal line for Brabant (unique thus) and the latter with clear date and very bold but typically partial countermark on right edge, VF with light toning in crevices.
