Description:
BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 8 reales, 1650 (Spanish 5) O, with crowned-C and crown-alone (rare variety) countermarks on cross (very rare with two countermarks), ex-Capitana, ex-Ponte, Mastalir Plate.
S-P35; KM-19b; Cal-1488. 24.51 grams. Oblong flan due to corrosion on one side, still with full shield and cross, the latter with clear date, one full countermark at top and most of second countermark at edge on right, lightly toned Fine overall.
